Tom Clancy’s The Division pushed back to 2016
Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming post apocalyptic MMO The Division has been delayed to 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. No reasons have been given for the delay however.
This marks the second time that The Division has suffered a delayed, originally being marked for a 2014 release before being pushed back to this year. Ubisoft have stated that they are targeting a Q4 release of its Financial Year which runs from January 1 2016 to March 31 2016.
The reason for the delay is unclear with Ubisoft moving an additional development studio to work on the game. The decision however has been made so that the players will get a much better product, as we saw with Watch Dogs. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemo said, “It is never an easy decision to move launch dates, but we are committed to make decisions that will benefit the players, As I said in my introduction, this is our most important driver as it has always benefitted the company in the long run.”
