Titanfall will not release on PS3 or PS4

Titanfall, one of the most anticipated next-gen games, has been confirmed as being available only on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, ruling out the possibility of it ever coming to the PS4 or PS3 as many had expected.

The news was confirmed in an overnight earnings call with Investors, with EA CFO and executive VP Blake Jorgensen stating, “In the case of Titanfall, it’s a brand-new IP, and it’s exclusive only, for the life of the title, on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and PCs.”

Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella then took to Twitter to state that Titanfall was only ever going to be a Microsoft exclusive and there was never any chance of it making it’s way to Sony’s consoles in the future.

“Always MS exclusive at launch, great partner and focus is good for a startup. EA made a deal for the rest, we only found out recently =(” tweeted Vince Zampella.

Zampella did go onto say however that future Titanfall games will be available for the PlayStation platform. It is only the first Titanfall game which is a Microsoft exclusive.
