Titanfall developer helping Microsoft fix Xbox One controller sensitivity

With the Titanfall beta starting soon and its release just weeks away, Respawn Entertainment have been working with Microsoft to help them improve the Xbox One controller sensitivity, an area which will be vital to Titanfall’s success. The developer had requested that Microsoft update the Xbox One controller as they felt it wasn’t where it should be.

Speaking to The Verge, Design lead Justin Hendry said,”It’s just fixing the controller input, really, It wasn’t really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it’s fixed. We’re happy with it.”

The improvement for the Xbox One controller sensitivity, which will “increase the sensitivity of the outer boundaries of the thumbsticks on the Xbox One controller.” is due to release this week as part of the February update to the Xbox One. The tweak will automatically take effect when an Xbox One controller syncs with the console.
