Suda51 Impressed By PlayStation 4 Specs

Suda51, the creator of such titles like Killer 7, Killer Is Dead and Lollipop Chainsaw, has thrown his hat into the next-gen ring, specifically in the PS4′s corner.

While the next-generation of gaming has just begun, it seems a majority of support is going towards Sony’s direction, but that could be argued either way

Suda said what caught his eye about the powerhouse console was its speed and said it puts him at ease when developing games.

“The most impressive one to me so far has got to be ‘speed’,” said Suda 51. “As a video game console, that’s the part the stood out to me the most for the PlayStation 4. We make games, so we want to make them fun, and we also put a lot of effort into making them as appealing as possible. In order to do that, we need hardware that can show ‘speed’.”

Suda also said his latest title in development, Lily Bergamo, will release for the PS4, most likely, as an exclusive.

“Grasshopper Manufacture is now part of the GungHo family and it was GungHo Online Entertainment CEO Kazuki Morishita who said ‘let’s make a game that puts together the taste of both companies’.” explains Suda. “So in the midst of all that, the talks of Lily Bergamo just happened. I’ve been keeping an eye on the PS4 from its early stages, and decided to challenge this platform, so we decided to develop it for PS4.”

When asked about the development progress so far, he said it’s a project that will take a while.

“We’re doing everything we can to release the game as soon as possible, and we’re putting a lot of work into it one day at a time,” says Suda. “At the moment, everyone on the team is putting their best efforts into Lily Bergamo, and building on it every day.”

“We’re putting together interesting ideas, properly taking care of the data, and making adjustments. We’re truly working hard while putting a lot of importance on time. Please continue supporting Lily Bergamo!”
