The Next Xbox One Update Coming February
Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra made some interesting comments in a podcast with Larry “Major Nelson” Herb. It was announced that the next big Xbox update was coming in February with the December and January months being used for stability.
In hindsight, it makes sense that Microsoft would choose not to release and update in neither December or January since it’s highly likely that millions of new consoles will be sold during those holiday months so major changes don’t seem necessary.
What will be interesting to know is what the features Microsoft will bring to the console. With many popular Xbox 360 games still yet to become backwards compatibly, it is reasonable to expect that this number is sure to grow after that February update.
