Daylight Release Date, Price, and Extra Features Revealed
Daylight, the procedurally generated survival horror game from Zombie Studios, has received a release date, price, and also some extra features today. Daylight’s expected release date on the Playstation 4 and PC is April 8, 2014 and will cost $14.99, €14.99, £11.99.
Daylight will also feature native 3D display support. If you have a 3D display, you’ll be able to take full advantage of it while playing Daylight. It uses the same technology that is seen in movie theaters, which will only make things scarier as you wander the halls of Daylight. For those on PC, Daylight will also natively support Occulus Rift.
One of the more exciting additions for Playstation 4 users is the multimedia interaction. If you stream Daylight on your Playstation 4 through twitch.tv, the chatroom will be able to cue in-game events. For example, if someone in chat types “Meow”, the game will surprise the viewer with the sound of a cat. Fortunately, these systems are on timers so they will not be spammable. And yes, there are more interactive words.
Lastly, we have some screenshots on new areas within Daylight. These areas include a prison and a forest. Please enjoy.
