Battlefield Hardline delayed until 2015
EA’s newest Battlefield instalment, Hardline has been delayed until 2015 according to Karl Troedsson, DICE’s Vice President.
In a post on EA and the Battlefield blog, Mr Troedsson explained why this was happening and why this delay will allow them work on specific areas of the game. Mr Troedsson said: “We want Battlefield Hardline to be the best game it can be, and so that we can create the best environment for a smooth launch for our players.” A beta was launched earlier this year at E3 for Playstation 4 players and PC with the game expected to be launched this fall.
DICE’s VP also said that the beta “purred us to start thinking about other possibilities and ways we could push Hardline innovation further and make the game even better.” However in order to do this, he said that they would need “more time.”
This comes after the release of the ‘Dragon’s Teeth’ DLC for Battlefield 4, a game which was notorious for the launch problems.
