Assassin’s Creed Unity officially announced
Ubisoft have officially announced Assassin’s Creed Unity after leaked footage earlier this week showed the game before intended.
Ubisoft have announced that the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be Assassin’s Creed Unity, and will only be available on next generation consoles and PC. After some leaked footage of the game emerged earlier this week, Ubisoft appear to have been forced into unveiling the game, set in the French revolution, and have released a short teaser trailer. The game has been confirmed to be releasing ‘Holiday 2014′, and it is likely to be shown off at E3 this year.
Ubisoft released a statement to the press saying, ‘We have been working on the new Assassin’s Creed for more than three years and although we weren’t quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand! So here’s a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin’s Creed Unity. Stay tuned - we’ll have many more exciting details for you in the months ahead!’.
