Assassin’s Creed Syndicate delayed on PC until November 19

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate on PC has been delayed and will now release nearly a month later than originally planned, Ubisoft has announced.

Syndicate was due to launch on PC alongside the Xbox One and PS4 versions on October 23, however the PC version will now release on November 19.

Developed by Ubisoft Kiev, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been delayed on PC to ensure that when the game launches it is as polished and optimized as possible for the platform. Ubisoft want to ensure a smooth launch for PC players. After the issues which plagued Unity when it launched last year on PC, Ubisoft will be keen to repeat that mistake, although any mistakes this time round will surely leave them open to even more criticism.

Sam Kovalev, Studio Production Manager at Ubisoft Kiev stated, “We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilizing and optimizing the PC version very early on in the project,” he continued. “This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year.”
